My husband is a genius. Well, this was part his genius and part Cragislist's genius and completely God's provision. We had this brick patio in our backyard that was just ugly and badly-paved and uneven and pointless. But pulling up all the bricks and hauling them to a dump was going to take a ton of work. Our neighbor suggested we put an ad in the paper for them. Jonathan modernized the idea and put it on Craiglist, thinking maybe we could get a few hundred bucks for them if we pulled them out of the ground. That would at least save us the hauling. One guy offered to pull them out and haul them away for us, so we said he could have them for free if he was willing to that! One man's trash...

Now we just have to sod it. Do you think we can find someone giving away free sod?

If you put wood chips in that spot it would make a great playground area where his grandpa and dad could build him a swingset!
