We had a great week of Vacation Bible School this year with our church, Trinity Fellowship. Josiah had his first year in a "real" small group. This curriculum has kids in crews of mixed elementary ages, and they traveled to different stations: Wild Blue Bible Adventures, science experiments, missions and movie, and games. Mama got to tell the Bibles stories at that station. It was a challenge for me, but of course that just made me have to rely on God. It was a great, interactive curriculum, where we transformed the room each day to a different setting: Capernum, Lazarus' tomb, Garden of Gethsemane, Golgotha and the Sea of Galilee (above).
Josiah had FUN! He got to be in a group with his buddy Davis, and he loved the songs (though he never sings with the group or does hand motions) and science experiment part (a replacement for crafts, which he has little interest in).
Davis and Maddie came with us each day. It was such a blessing that Amy watched Micah for me until Jonathan could pick him up.
The decorations were amazing! I was so blessed that my team decorate the room each night, so I could concentrate on the stories.
