Daddy's Clothes

A little background: Josiah has been taunting Jonathan by calling him "Mama." It's his way to get a tickle from Daddy. In response, Jonathan's been calling him Dada and somehow that led to Josiah getting dressed up in Daddy's work clothes. These are from three separate days.

Complete with belt and pager.

Notice the watch.

And the dress shirt.

And shoes and socks

These socks are too big!

Even More Duck Pictures

I know, could there possibly be more pictures of Josiah with ducks? These are from the play date; it was a nice overcast day - perfect for pictures. And I remember to bring the good camera, so I took lots of shots. I can't really get him to look at the camera without someone's help.

Yes, he tried to sit on the very small duck.

My Honey's Birthday Gift

Jonathan had to order my birthday gift, so it came a few days late, but I was really surprised to find a huge package outside our front door.
And inside...

Not an adorable little boy, but a stand mixer! I couldn't believe my sweetie showered me with such an amazing and generous birthday gift! I know it might not seem like a big deal to some people, but my hand mixer broke recently and I've always wanted a stand mixer. Since we didn't get one for our wedding, I figured the opportunity had passed since they're pretty pricey. But I do love to bake, so I thought I'd get a lot of use out of one. And my sweet husband knew I wanted it and found a really great one for me. It's lighter than the KitchenAid mixers, so I won't have an excuse not to pull it out if we ever put it in a cabinet. For now I'm leaving it on the counter as a reminder of how awesome my husband is. Great job honey - you knocked it out of the park!

Ducks and Donuts

Our Moms and Tots event this month was Ducks and Donuts. We met up at Krispy Kreme for a sugar fix and then headed over to Aldridge Gardens to wander and feed the ducks (and turtles and humongous fish).
The whole crew: Seema and Rohan, Leah and Bailey, me and Josiah, Jessie and Margot, and Melanie and Jack. (I understand the kids not looking at the camera, but what's my excuse?)

The boy and me - thanks for the pic, Melanie! Josiah was digging his doughnut, huh?

And feeding the ducks! Josiah asks about Jack all the time. It's adorable: "Jack? Please?"
