Engagements
Later in the week we met our former neighbors at a local park. When we arrived, I realized it was the same place that my brother Parker asked Rachel to marry him. Josiah thought this place was also very romantic.
We thought we should visit the place where Dad Page asked Mom to marry him, but err..we couldn't find it. Dad, you'll have to point it out to us the next time we're in Chapel Hill...
(Inside family joke: Mom claims Dad never officially asked her.)

Tar Heel Bred
Mom and I took Josiah to walk around Carolina's campus. It was so fun to stroll him around and tell him of all our memories.
"C'mon Mom! I heard I'm supposed to take a drink from this thing."
"Going to Carolina - not just in my mind."

A New Giraffee and Other Fall Fun
Josiah had so much fun with his Granddaddy. He started playing "gotcha" with him, and it just tickled Josiah to no end. Josiah would run up to him and make him play or try and surprise him. It was precious.

New Words
Sorry for the lack of posting, but hopefully most of you have seen Josiah in person the last few days.
He's doing some cute things lately. He's made a rooster (cock-doodle-doo) noise. He's say a version of nose, banana, drink, dog and thank you. I noticed the other day that he mimics my tone when I'm listing things I have to do for the day or counting things. He's also started signing "eat."
We have always called my mom "Mimi" to him. All of sudden, Josiah started calling her "Nana." I've never used that word around him, so I don't know where he got it, but he's pretty consistent about it. Mimi/Nana is having an identity crisis!
